The 1st annual major BC Tourism
Leaders' Summit, hosted by the Council of Tourism Associations
(COTA), was
held at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, April 19 – 20,
2010. This high level summit attracted over 200 industry
leaders who discussed the challenges and opportunities
facing the industry, providing guidance to COTA, and
will help guide COTA and its members in deliberations
with
government.
The annual BC Tourism Industry Conference (TIC), traditionally
held in February, has been moved to the fall and will be
held October 20 – 22, 2010 at the Sheraton Vancouver
Wall Centre. TIC will continue to offer hands-on, ‘toolbox’ elements
that attendees can take away with them and use in their
day to day business operations.
Sponsors of these two significant events are an important
element to their success. Following are 2010 sponsorship
benefits for the Leader's Summit, therefore
we are offering sponsorship opportunities either individually
or combined,
with enhanced
benefits for combined support.
In return for their generous financial commitment sponsors
will be provided with a range of benefits detailed below.
All events may be partially sponsored. While the minimum
sponsorship level for the Tourism Leaders’ Summit
is listed at $500, financial support below this amount
is also appreciated.
